Brenda Ramsey- L'Amoreaux, DVM

Dr. Brenda Ramsey-L'Amoreaux was born and raised on a dairy farm in Louisville. She graduated from The Ohio State University with her DVM in 1998. After graduation, she returned to Louisville and opened West Main Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Gary Evanich. Brenda is married to Nevin and is the mother of 2 daughters, Lindsay and Lauren. Brenda and her family raise their own herd of registered Holsteins and Brown Swiss and enjoy exhibiting these cattle on a local, state and national level. In addition to practicing veterinary medicine, Brenda is a 4-H advisor, a dairy judging team coach, a Louisville School Board member and an active member in her church.  She feels blessed to be doing what she loves everyday while also being a parent and still giving back to the community.


Chasidy Mayle, DVM


Dr. Hoover is a graduate of the University of Findlay with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a recent grad of Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up on a beef cattle, goat and chicken farm in Portage County where he still resides. He was active in 4-H on the livestock judging team as well as showing goats and beef cattle. Dr. Hoover also has a custom hay business. In his spare time, he enjoys collecting and rebuilding antique tractors and baling hay.

Matthew Hoover, DVM


Kayleigh has been working at West Main Veterinary Clinic since she was in high school and has now been employed over 15 years. She received her  Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology degree in 2011 from Brown Mackie College. Kayleigh has two dogs Jasper and Khloe who are members of her family along with her daughter, Kenzie, and husband, Loren. In her free time she enjoys crafting, baking, playing outside with her daughter, and spending time with family and friends.

Angie Bockover, RVT

Angie was raised in Central Ohio. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from Ohio State University. Angie has a passion for helping homeless animals and has worked in shelter medicine for over 20 years. She has volunteered with numerous campaigns to better the lives of animals including spaycations, rescue missions, and HSUS investigations, human/animal bond. Angie moved into private practice to focus on the human/animal facet of her career. She recently purchased a home on the lake with her partner Billy. They have spent time on renovations and enjoying all the lake has to offer boating, fishing, kayaking and bird watching. They share their home with a geriatric chihuahua, Beeg and a rambunctious  teenage German Shorthaired Pointer, Remington. Angie enjoys traveling, visiting states and national parks. She has 11 states left to explore. In her spare time she enjoys camping, reading, and gardening.  


Cassie graduated with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology from Kent State University in 2021. Her love for animals started when she was younger. While she doesn’t have any animals currently, her first dog was an English shepherd named Bear. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and playing as well as listening to music.

Lindsay L'Amoreaux, Veterinary Assistant

Lindsay is a student at The Ohio State University studying Animal Biosciences with a focus in Pre-veterinary medicine. She began working at West Main in May of her sophomore year of high school as a Veterinary Assistant. Her pets include dairy cows and an Australian Shepherd named “Bogey”. She enjoys showing dairy cattle and traveling.


Maiah began working with us in November of 2019. Before that, she went to Diamond Oaks Career Campus in Cincinatti, Ohio which is where her family lives. Maiah has three cats, Xander, Tater, and Amber. Some of her interests include reading, watercolor painting, and  playing video games.

Katie is a veterinary assistant here at West Main. She is currently a student at Malone University studying biology with the intent to go forward in Veterinary School. She has previous experience grooming dogs and cats and also worked with the animal rescue Fur Get Me Not. She has two pets of her own, a black lab named Patrick and a cat named Hibbleton! In her spare time she enjoys home improvement projects, reading, and playing music.

Shelbi was born and raised on her family dairy farm in Waynesburg, Ohio. She attended R.G Drage Career Center in the Animal Science/Pre Vet Tech program. Shelbi is now going to study veterinary technology. She started working as a veterinary assistant at the clinic while going to school. Shelbi has had a passion for animals since she was young. She is a member of 4-H and FFA, and shows Market Steers, Market Hogs, and Market Lambs. Shelbi has lots of pets including cows, dogs, lambs, hogs, and horses! When she isn't busy with school or working she enjoys Tractor Pulling and showing her animals.

           McKenzie Skipper,

McKenzie went to Miami University and got a bachelor's degree in zoology. She worked at a couple of animal sanctuaries and has been to Madagascar to study lemurs. McKenzie has two dogs, Oscar and Penny. She also has five cats currently. McKenzie likes to travel, paint, play video games, nap, and watch the same TV shows on repeat in her free time.

Faith attended R.G. Drage Career Center in the Animal Science/Pre-Vet Tech program. Currently she is attending Kent State University, towards her Associates Degree of Veterinary Technology. She grew up in Louisville, Ohio and will be graduating from Louisville High School this spring. She plans to study veterinary technology after high school. Faith has two chihuahua's named Brutus and Roscoe. In her spare time she likes reading and playing/writing music.

Sandy began working at West Main Vet Clinic in January 2020. She is married to Tim and together they are the parents to 3 adult children and grandparents to 6. Sandy was a client with her poodles before working here. She came to us with a customer service background which has served her well in this position. When not at work, she enjoys her dogs, Rylee and Connor. She also enjoys baking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Janet started at West Main in 2015. She was married to her husband for 37 years. Janet has 2 pets Lucy and Peaches. She loves coming to work every day and seeing our clients, and their pets. Janet says our veterinary staff is awesome!

Amy was welcomed to West Main Vet Clinic in May of 2021. She has been married to her husband Mark since 1984. Amy's passion on her own time is training and running competitive agility with her 2 Border Collies.

Hailey has lived in Louisville her entire life. She always thought how cool it would be to work with animals. This job came at a time in her life where she needed something different and comforting. Everyday Hailey always has either a cat or dog greeting her at the door! Animals have always been a part of her life. She couldn't imagine a world without being involved with animals.
